Gail Reilly

Ryan Mick 0 2163 Article rating: No rating

GAIL REILLY is a Paranormal and Properties Docent for the Hayward Area Historical Society in Hayward, CA.  They are responsible for the renovation and maintenance of the Meek Estate, the McConaghy Estate, and the San Lorenzo Pioneer Cemetery.  She is also the founder and lead investigator of NorCal Ghost Sleuths, a member of North Bay R.I.P. out of Napa, CA, and a guest member of Northern Nevada Ghost Hunters (NNGH) out of Reno, NV.

Gail spent her teenage years living in a haunted house and has been a believer ever since.  It took a family “roots” trip to the James River area of Virginia to interest her in becoming a student of the paranormal, however.  It seemed that many of the family’s ancestors were anxious to meet them wherever they went!

The Meek and McConaghy Estates were Gail’s first hands-on investigations and it seems she has never left.  She had found a new passion and has now been an active paranormal investigator for over 16 years.  She has participated in hundreds of investigations throughout California, Nevada, Virginia, and most recently, Massachusetts.  Although Gail has taken part in many different aspects of investigating and is available to help spirits in any way, her love of history and historical research has taken her main focus to assisting historical properties and foundations in their fundraising efforts through paranormal programming.  After all, what better way to learn about the history of a location than to get answers from the people who lived it?

I find the Paranormal World fascinating, a dimension unlike any other & have encountered all types of paranormal activity in my life. This allowed me to get a first-hand experience, up close and personal, with the ghostly residence that roam the house & property. I found this historical Whaley House lived up to its reputation. This house has many haunts and I have the stories to go with them.
